Sennarth Strategy Guide
There’s a lot going on in the Sennarth encounter, but it all comes down to everyone doing their job. Before you know it, the spider will go down.
Sennarth Phase 1
When you arrive on each level, immediately kill the Frostbreath Arachid add.
You’ll need two tanks for this fight. The off tank should taunt when the main tank has eight stacks. Once the stacks fall off, the main tank can taunt back.
During Chilling Blast, players should spread out others aren’t hit when the debuff expires and damage is dealt. Conversely, when targeted with Enveloping Webs, you’ll need to carefully place down your Sticky Webbing puddles. On the one hand, they’re used to counteract Gossamer Burst; you can’t be pulled to the boss through the puddles. On the other hand, standing in the puddles give you a debuff. At ten stacks, you’re trapped in the webs. You can only be broken free if someone kills a small spider on top of you.
Every 80 seconds, Sennarth will move up the platform. She will cast Chilling Blast and then 15 seconds later, cast Gossamer Burst, so be ready for this sequence of events. Make sure you stay spread out and be prepared to be pulled toward the boss. It’s important to know as well that at the top of the stairs for each level, there is a rock wall that will prevent you from being pulled off the ledge. Use this to your advantage.
This process repeats until you’ve reached the top level of the room, where phase two begins.
Sennarth Phase 2
At this point, it’s a race to the finish before Sennarth kills you with raid wide damage.
There are a couple of key things to remember. The entire floor is icy, so you’re going to be constantly slipping and sliding. Keep that in mind because Chilling Blast is still taking place here, so you need to make sure you stay spread out appropriately. They now also leave behind a bomb that will explode, so stay away from them. Webs continue, but they are changed up now: they deal damage before immediately wrapping players. Thankfully, the small spiders continue to spawn, so you’re still able to break them out.
Finally, Sennarth will try to push you off the platform, so make sure you’re positioned to not fall off when she casts Repelling Burst.
Apex Ice should also be interrupted immediately.
Sennarth Heroic Mode
Numerical values for boss health and damage from abilities increases. Wrapped in Webs stuns players for 30 seconds instead of slowing them by 70%.
Sennarth Loot Table
The ilvl for Sennarth’s Loot Table varies by the raid’s difficulty. Normal loot has an ilvl of 389, Heroic 402, and Mythic 415.
