The YouTuber and Twitch streamer known as Faraaz Khan broadcasted his no death run of Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice to viewers not too long ago, and he managed to complete the game in a little under 2 hours without having to use any resurrects. As some players may know, Sekiro features multiple endings that require different playthroughs in order for them all to be earned and experienced, and Faraaz Khan ended up with the “Immortal Severance” ending this time around.
For those unaware, Faraaz Khan has been known to successfully take on other From Software games by setting similar self-imposed limitations, as he also beat the Sekiro dev’s game Dark Souls 3 without getting hit once. Interestingly enough, just prior to his recent no death run with Sekiro, Khan mentioned that he intends on upping the ante when it comes to a future Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice playthrough by beating it with no hits, too.
Without a doubt, Faraaz Khan’s ability to finish Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice without dying at all is an incredibly impressive feat. That’s not to diminish some of the accomplishments of other players within the game’s fan base, though, as the Twitch streamer known as “danflesh111” recently decided to tackle the game with a speed run in mind by beating Sekiro in under 1 hour.
All things considered, once skilled players like Faraaz Khan have the time to more closely study all of the ins and outs of Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice and further practice with the mechanics, we will likely see additional playthroughs with even tougher self-imposed limitations in the future. Until then, though, Khan should definitely be commended on successfully tackling what many wouldn’t even dare attempt.
Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is available now for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
