Florida, where many of the affected cruise ships dock, hit a record-breaking 46,900 cases in one day on Tuesday, with weekly averages and hospitalizations also increasing. The Southern California city is expected to be the new home of the AHL affiliate of Seattle’s new NHL team, The Associated Press reported. The Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians and Oak View Group said they have plans to build an arena in Palm Springs, where the AHL team will play.
